THE COOL CAT JAZZ^TM BAND 

New England’s hottest Dixieland and Swing Jazz Band, music from the 20’s through the 40’s. Comprised of some of the most talented musicians on the East Coast, The Cool Cat Jazz Band injects new twists and turns into old tunes, often switching gears to present more contemporary music in traditional jazz stylings.

The band has been performing New Orleans Jazz, Big Band Swing, Gospel, and Mardi Gras party music throughout the region since 1980. They are extremely diversified and perform for adult and young audiences alike. Well known for their high-energy entertaining style, The Cool Cat Jazz Band educational programs are filled with audience participation, and their outrageous humor attracts young audiences wherever they perform. The band presents over 150 youth celebrations and educational concerts annually. Outside of the school circuit, The band members have appeared together at jazz festivals from California to Washington, DC to Scotland and numerous places in between, greeted by eager audiences who enjoy their brilliant and diversified jazz venue. Group members have also appeared at numerous Mardi Gras celebrations in New Orleans for over a dozen years.
